Here's my latest film to promote my novel, Long
Distance Sleepwalker - a dark comedy about the destruction of
empathy by market forces. If you like it, by all means pass it
on.

The Senses
Whenever I hear birds singing
I think it is you and not birds.
Whenever I feel warmth
I think it’s you and not sunlight.
Whenever I smell flowers
I think it is you and not flowers.
Many dawns we will share,
Many sunsets.
Many times we will venture into
Sainsbury’s
With our mutual love to protect us
From the rising prices.
Many evenings we will walk back
home
From some excursion
And make a comment about the day.
Those times will surely end
But as long as I have my senses
I will think of you.
