Ceri.
Ceri
May has been floundering around in the world of poetry for some
time now. At the age of 3, she wrote her first poem, it
cunningly rhymed the word 'pop' with the word 'pop'. She has not
written rhyming poetry since. Ceri grew up in the Grim-up-North
and moved to London 6 years ago to study Tibetan. She regularly
performs at various poetical events across the city and has also
taken to the stage in Denmark and India. With Burgess the
Rhymer, she has been running the monthly Y Tuesday poetry club
night since 2006. She has a great interest in small and
alternative press publishing and makes a feminist poetry zine
called She Stories and recently created a book of poems based on
perfect numbers. One day she would like to have a goat (called
Ned) and two ducks (called Dolly and Drusilla).
