Daniel Cockrill..
..delivers
poignant, irreverent and very funny poetic anecdotes with an
elegant simplicity. He is a
founding member of the poetry collective ‘Bang Said The Gun’.
His latest work entitled ‘Destroying The Laboratory For The Sake
Of The Experiment’ is a collaboration with the Magnum
Photographer Mark Power. The project is an attempt to fuse poems
and photographs to reveal and record a view of England.
Daniel is also a successful workshop leader giving poets of all
ages and abilities ideas for writing, presenting and performing
poetry.
His first full collection entitled ‘Pie and Papier-Mâché’ was
published in 2007 by Trinovantes.
The Independent described him as ‘resolutely un-hip’.
He lives in Dalston, London. |
