The Ranting Post
It’s a rant
A post that’s down
Well this post might
seem a bit down
But it’s the truth
Recent cases of child
abuse
The result for the
abuser
The end result for
the abused
The never ending
result for us
Same old, same old
Like me, like us,
like them
You could write a
poem about it
We have
You could write a
book about it
We have
You could make a film
about it
We have
They could do
something about it...
We wait
Harsh?
Harsh is the
affliction of it
Harsh is the
injustice of it
Harsh is that no one
deserves it
Yet it happens
everyday
Harsh is to always
endure
Harsh is to be told
we are Harsh
Because we see no end
And we tell it so
Have we all the
answers? No
But who listens to
the ones we have?
Have they all the
answers? No
Did we ever think
they did?
How long have they
been at it?
How long till there’s
a change?
Sorry for the chain
of questions
It’s because of the
chain of events,
The lack of a
difference
And who suffers when
they fail?
They should know…
It’s what makes us
who we are
To tell the tale
If only they would
listen
