Rrrants present the
first Bard-Aid poetry books to Queens School
On 26th April 2010, Donna
Daniels-Moss presented a cache of Poetry books on behalf
of The RRRANTS poetry Collective to Ms Siobhan Childers
of Queens School, Bushey. Queens is the first school in
Hertfordshire to receive the books and benefit directly
from The RRRANTS charity, 'Bardaid' (raising money to
put non curriculum poetry books in schools). Many of
these books have been donated by established poets
in the hope that they will encourage students of the Wii
generation to put down their joysticks and pick up the
pen thus creating the poets of tomorrow.
RRRANTS have dedicated this year's
profits, from their live gigs, to the Bardaid charity to
ensure that many more schools across Great Britain will
benefit accordingly. RRRANTS have over 70 performers,
including comedic poets and parodists in our stable and
they are all committed to bringing the spoken word to
the masses, as they perform relentlessly across the
country.
If you know of a local school that would
appreciate a 'poetry drop' please let us know by
contacting Donna at donna@rrrants.com |
